Date and Venue

The conference will be held from 21 to 23 May 2014 at the Pine Hills Hotel in Malaybalay City.

Pine Hills Hotel (location map) is an accredited hotel by the Department of Tourism in Bukidnon. All rooms are fully air-conditioned with individual bathrooms, telephones and 24-hour standby generator. The hotel has a pool bar, however the swimming pool is non operational for the moment. There is also a coffee shop beside the hotel where you can have some refreshments and snacks.

We have booked all rooms, including the function rooms to accommodate participants during the conference. Walk-in participants may consider the following alternative accommodations:

For those participating in the pre-conference site visits from 17-20 May, the meeting venues are as follows:

Sustainability Science and Youth and Values Formations groups:
Culture and Ecology Center, Sitio Bendum, Barangay Busdi, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon. Participants will be staying at the Adagi Balay (big house), which offers simple accommodations. Meals will be served in the Adagi Balay together with the youth participants and scholars.

Internet
Internet/Wifi connection will be available at the conference venue, free of charge.

 

Conference Rooms
The opening session, plenary sessions, and the closing session will be held at the main Ballroom of the hotel.  The parallel sessions and workshops venues shall be announced during the conference.

For the domestic flights, you are advised to do online web check-in to avoid long queues at the airport.

 

Transport from Airport to Hotels Airport Arrival
The Secretariat has arranged airport pick up and transfer for international participants arriving in Manila. Shuttle services will be available at specific times to transport participants from Cagayan de Oro City to the conference venue and vice-versa.

 

Registration Procedures
Participants who have not yet completed the online registration are encouraged to do so. Participants will be given their conference kit at the venue.
